LCHEC Career Training Information

LCHEC offers a private loan: LCHEC offers a private loan requiring a cosigner for students enrolled in our classes. The fee for this loan is $40 in addition to the tuition.

Cosigner must be present at the time of registration.The down payment is $250 followed by 6 monthly payments. These payments range from $139-$294 per month, depending on the class. You will not be allowed to receive your certificate of completion until your loan is paid in full. Courses costing $1,900 or more require a down payment of $500 and offer 10 monthly payments.

Late payment fee:If a payment is more than 5 days late, there is $20.00 late fee
Returned Items Fee: A 40.00 fee will be charged to my account if a payment is returned due to insufficient funds or any other reason. 

Collection Cost: If you are default on the loan, you shall pay to LCHEC, or its agents reasonable collection fees, court cost, and attorney fees.This will be reported to national credit bureau.

Scholarships Deadline:
Mar 31 - CTC Foundation Scholarships
Mar 31 - CTC Scholarship Fund (for qualified high school students)

Financial Aid Deadline:
Jun 1 - Fall Semester only or Fall/Spring Semester
Nov 1 - Spring Semester only
Apr 1 - Summer 

Applications for financial aid will be accepted and processed in order of receipt after these dates, but students will experience delays in receiving eligible funds for registration and books. Financial Aid is awarded on an academic semester (Fall and Spring).

NOTE: Summer aid is available only if there are remaining funds. Apply early each year so available aid is in place in time for registration. Late applicants should make arrangements to pay their own registration expenses.
