Derrick Berrios joined LCHEC in early 2016 as the Administrative Support Specialist. He currently serves as the Director. Derrick attended the University of Minnesota at Mankato, majoring in Law Enforcement. He has more than 25 years experience in customer service, marketing, sales, and office management.

Berrios was President of the Lampasas Lions Club from 2013-2016. In addition, he currently serves on the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension advisory board, the Lampasas County Workforce advisory board, and the LISD/CTE Health Careers advisory board.
